Scope
This part of ISO/IEC 10168 defines: (a) procedures for a single protocol for the transfer of data and control information from one test management entity (the Lower Tester) to a peer test management entity (the Upper Tester); (b) the structure and encoding of the test management protocol data units used to operate the test management protocol.
These procedures are defined in terms of (a) the service primitives sent and received by the Upper Tester; (b) the Session Layer - Test Management Protocol Data Unit sent and received by the Upper Tester.
